Trailer Hitch Receiver and Wiring Harness For Towing a Trailer With a 2017 Volvo S60 T5 Sedan
Question:
I have a Volvo T5 S60 2017 sedan and wondering if this part would fit. If not would definitely be open to any of your suggestions. I have a platform that fits into a hitch that I will mainly be using for transporting a trike bicycle and an e-bike, not at the same time. I also have a trailer I can pull with my motorcycle that I believe is called a five pin for the electrical. The trailer is 275 lb and Im rarely going to pull it with the car. What are your recommendations for a good setup? My Volvo dealer said they would install a hitch for me so I will not be doing the work myself.

Yes, the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # 75916 is confirmed to fit your 2017 Volvo S60 T5 sedan. The receiver is rated for up to 400lbs of tongue weight and 4,000lbs of total trailer weight. Be sure to confirm with your owners manual for your exact ratings as it can vary from vehicle to vehicle.
The Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness # C56224 will give you a 4-way flat connector. If your trailer requires a 5-way we do have the Adapter # C57187 you will be able to add to the 4-way. The adapter allows you to tie into the reverse light circuit on your Volvo.
We do have the Ball Mount Kit # C45534 which will give you a 2" hitch ball to connect your trailer.
