What Torque Should 7k Trailer Axle Brake Assemblies be Torqued To
Question:
Can you tell me what I should torque the caliper mounting plate to on my 7K axles at . Thanks

Hey Dennis, so the bolts used to secure the 7k Disc Brake kit part # K2HR712D to your axle will need to be torqued to 30-50 ft-lbs. If you do not have access to a torque wrench then you can tighten the bolts down enough to where the lock washer is crushed and that will be sufficient. We also have a torque wrench available as part # ALL944001. If you need new hardware you can use part # BRKH12.
