Recommended Kayak Trailer w/ a Low Bunk Height
Question:
I have 2 Old Town 106 Kayaks. One PDL and another a Paddle type. I am 70 years plus and trying to not to lift to high. I have an interest in your Micro sport Low profile trailer. I want to be able to switch back and forth carrying 1 or 2 kayaks. Would the bunks be the best choice for support or something else. Is it fairly easy to switch from single to double? Thank you.

Since you're worried about height, I recommend the Malone LowBed MicroSport Trailer item # MAL25FR. The LowBed trailer item # MAL25FR has bunk boards that sit only 22" off the ground compared to the MicroSport Trailer item # MPG461B2 which sits 30" off the ground.
Other then that both trailers are extremely similar because they are each built on the same platform. Both will work with your Old Town 106 kayaks.
The bunks will do a great job of supporting your kayaks. They are also really easy to adjust so you can change the configuration of your trailer. They use U-bolts to attach to the crossbars and the angle of the bunks can be changed as well.
