Is The Blue Ox Patriot Supplemental Braking System Compatible With A 1973 Jeep CJ5
Question:
Im looking at a Blue Ox Portable Braking System BLU37TR. I have a 73 Jeep CJ5 but the options for years only goes back to 76. Will this system work on mine? I dont think there is any difference in the vehicle between those years...

The Blue Ox Patriot Radio Frequency # BLU37TR is pretty much universal with the only limitations really just coming down to there being enough space to fit and properly mount against the seat to push on the brake pedal. You may have to play around with the feet on the main unit and move the seat forward but you shouldn't have an issue using the Patriot as your supplemental braking system. This will require 12v power while the vehicle is off so I recommend installing a 12v outlet # RM-9332 to power it and a charge line # RM-156-25 to keep the battery charged while you tow.
