Spring Bar Length on Pro Series Weight Distribution System part # PS49901

Question:

Im considering the PS49901 for my popup trailer. My tongue weight is ~330lb, the frame is 2X4. I have LP tanks and other things mounted on the frame, but there is a clear area from 27-32inch from the center of the ball. The hitch accepts a 2inch ball. Given those specs, is the PS49901 appropriate, and would it fit correctly with the hangers mounting between 27 and 32 inches from ball center? Thanks

The length of the spring bars in the Pro Series Weight Distribution System # PS49901 is 29 inches and the width of the chain hanger bracket is 5-3/4 inches so it should fit well in the area you referenced that is clear on your trailer frame that is 27-32 inches back from the center of the ball hole.

You wouldn't need it, but in situations where there is interference above the frame where the hangers should install we recommend the bolt on chain hangers part # RP58305 since they just bolt to the sides of the trailer frame.
