Correct Lippert Shock Kit for 2020 Gulf Stream 199DD
Question:
Hi etrailer, I have a quick question. Im looking to purchase the Lippert Bolt-On Shock Kit w/ Heavy Duty Gas Shocks - 3,500-lb 2-3/8 Axle Item # LC281255. Im unsure though if my axle is 2 3/8. Ive read through all my owners manuals and there is nothing about it. I pulled the axle id from under the trailer and it is a Lippert LCI35- SB- 86.5 - 68.5 - NOSP - US - G - 545 - 7242- 18PT V000113189. I have a 2020 Gulf Stream 199DD camper. Thanks in advance for any info you might have on if this would fit!

Thank you for providing that axle information it makes this easy. What you have is a 3,500 lb axle which will have a 2-3/8" diameter. The # LC281255 is the correct shock kit for your 2020 Gulf Stream 199DD. As long as you have an overslung axle (leaf springs sitting on top of the axle) you will be able to install these on your trailer.
