What Is Different About The 3rd Gen Reese Goose Box Compared To The Previous Gen

Question:

How do you determine the difference between the 1st Gen, 2nd Gen and 3rd Gen. I am looking to purchase a 20k Reese goosebox and just want to make sure I am getting the 3rd Gen. Thank you

I can confirm that the Reese Goose Box # RP85FR is the 3rd gen Reese goosebox. The main changes from the 2nd gen are the placement of the inflation valve, and the design of the wings. The 3rd gen wings are slightly smaller than the 1st and 2nd gen, and the air valve is now on top of the goosebox, instead of up underneath. This helps to make the valve more accessible and allows the goosebox to fit additional pin box bolt patterns. The # RP85FR will now fit the Lippert 1621, 1716, 0719, Rhino, and Fabex PB 600 series pin boxes.
