Does Stromberg Carlson 2 Bike Carrier for RVs Require Longer Screws
Question:
I keep seeing that the screws are a bit short to mount easily. What size are the screws ? I am not going to be close to a hardware store when I get ready to mount so will need to buy longer screws in advance . What size / type are the screws?

We've had a few comments on the screw length of what comes with the Stromberg Carlson 2 Bike Carrier for RVs part # LA-102 and while a few have said they wish they had longer screws a few have also noted that they also read those comments are glad they didn't go with longer screws as it would have made the install harder. What one customer mentioned was that using vice grips to hold the bracket when starting the second screw was the trick that worked best so that would be what I would recommend.
