Does a 2013 Hyundai Tucson Need a Transmission Cooler for Towing a Trailer
Question:
We have a 2013 Hyundai Tucson Limited Edition AWD.Believe it or not it only has 105,000KM 0n it DA Wifes Car and is is great shape overall due to Good Maintenance AND Fluid Film overall. I bought the proper hitch and wiring harness for it several years back but never got around to installing because we had a full-size truck. QUESTION : Is it advisable to install a transmission cooler on this SUV? Thanks

Most of the time an additional transmission cooler isn't needed for a towing setup. The only times I really recommend adding one is if you'll be towing in a hot climate, you'll be near the max towing capacity of your vehicle, and if you'll be towing your trailer very often.
If none of these apply to you then a cooler wouldn't hurt anything, but it wouldn't give much benefit to your 2013 Hyundai Tucson. If one or all of these apply to you then a transmission cooler will definitely help to keep your vehicle from working too hard and overheating. Coolers are somewhat universal fits and one of the best options we have is the Derale Series 8000 Plate-Fin Transmission Cooler Kit # D13503 due to wide variety of vehicles it fits.
To determine if this will fit your vehicle you need to see if there is enough room in your engine bay for it to fit. If you check out the linked photos you can compare this to your Tucson for fitment.
