Replacement Grease Seals for 1993 Jayco 1406 Pop-Up Camper Trailer
Question:
I know this is a long shot, but by any chance do you know the size of the bearing seals for my 1993 Jayco 1406? Its a popup with tandom axles

Trailer manufacturers, even the best of them, are not known for consistency in the parts they use on their trailers. A manufacturer may use alternate bearings and seals even within a particular production run. You might be able to get the seal number from Jayco by providing them with the VIN (vehicle identification number) from your trailer, although this is likely a long shot too.
Better options are to find the part number from the original seal (sometimes tough unless you can get them really clean) or to take very precise measurements with a digital caliper.
The linked photo shows the typical locations of the reference numbers on seals, bearings and races. If you cannot find these on your parts you can take measurements of the seal's inner and outer diameters as indicated by the arrows on the photo. Part numbers can be entered into our search box; measurements can be compared to those shown on the linked page for grease seals.
