Troubleshooting Charge Line Not Working After Installing Tekonsha 7-Way on 2019 Nissan Pathfinder
Question:
Looking at the documentation for this harness, I expected the 12V charging wire to be connected 2019 Pathfinder. However, after plugging in the harness components, I get left/right turn, brake, and tail lights, but the 12V line doesnt appear to have power. I dont have a brake controller installed, so I am unable to test that line. Should the 12V charging line be working with this harness, and if so, do you have any ideas on what might be wrong that everything except that line seems to work?

Yes, your 12 volt charge line should be functioning with the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118273 on your 2019 Nissan Pathfinder. I first recommend checking your fuses and relays as I have often seen some of these components not included from the factory when a vehicle like your Pathfinder does not include a tow package. I was unable to find a good list of the fuses and relays online so you will need to check your covers for the location of the different components.
Next you will want to inspect the connections for the kit to ensure none to the connectors have pushed out of the plastic housing or are damaged.
If you are still having trouble you can use a Test Light # PTW2993 to check for power on the vehicle side of the black connector under your vehicle to determine if the issue is with the connector and wiring. Let me know what you find and I can continue from there to help you determine if the harness is defective.
When you are ready for a brake controller I recommend the Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty Brake Controller # RED24FR which you can connect with the Plug-and-Play Harness # RED39FR.
