Where Does a Trailer Wiring Harness Plug Into On a 1998 Mercury Villager
Question:
hi cant find the plug ,video shows installation on a truck and the van must have a different location . I checked passenger side plus both of the access pannels. just need to find the main plug please help if you have access to a wiring diagram for this vehicle send me an email .

The connector on your 1998 Mercury Villager should be located somewhere near the spare tire. It could even be above it. It is not necessarily in the exact same place on every vehicle but should be in the same general area.
The harness could be hidden inside of a loom and would not be obvious in that case. If you can trace the wiring from the tail lights they should lead you to the main harness. I know this is easier said than done but it would be the best way to find the main harness.
