Comparing Trailer Hitches For The 2015 Toyota Sienna XLE
Question:
2015 Sienna XLE: Curt 13343 vs Draw Tite 76112 ... Is there a limitation on either mentioned online about Curt that requires stabilizer straps to top of tailgate when using bike rack or tray and how do Curt and Draw Tite compare to Cequent CQT75237 recommended by U-Haul installation service?

Both the Curt # C13343 and the Draw-Tite # 76112 for the 2015 Toyota Sienna XLE are virtually identical. There are no limitations as far as stabilizer straps being required for either hitch. I used to have a 2013 Sienna XLE and we actually had the Draw-Tite # 76112 installed on it. There were never any issues with stability and we used it frequently for a 2-bike rack and a cargo carrier. The Sienna XLE is a pretty beefy van and it seemed to handle the weight very well.
The Curt # C13343 and the Draw-Tite # 76112 hitches have what we call a concealed cross tube. Meaning the cross tube of the hitch is hidden behind the bumper. The difference between these hitches and the # 75237 that you mentioned is that the # 75237 does not have a concealed cross tube design. So more of the hitch will be visible underneath the bumper. The Draw-Tite # 75237 does also have a slightly higher weight capacity than the other hitches at 675 tongue weight and 4,500 lbs towing, so this may be why they recommended it.
