Troubleshooting Flashing Green Light With MaxxAir RV Roof Vent Lid
Question:
Hi guys...great info. I have an Offgrid Expedition 2.0 trailer with a MaxxFan 4000k. Recently the green light comes on and beeps after the fan runs for only a few seconds. I pulled the fuse and tried again, which reset the green light but when I turn it on it still only runs for a few seconds before beeping and quitting. I just measured the voltage on external power at 14v. Could the voltage be too high or does this sound like a circuit board issue to you? Thanks very much,

Sounds like you just installed a Lithium battery in your trailer which is causing the voltage to be higher than normal at 14 volts and causing the green light error you mentioned. What you would need is a new circuit board for your MaxxAir which we have with the part # MA10A21276K. This was updated to be able to work with Lithium batteries like you have.
