To make sure we choose the correct wheel and hub for your trailer, we are going to need a little more information about the spindle on your trailer. I assume the 1.250 shaft that you mention is the spindle on your trailer. Most trailer spindles are tapered and the spindle does not usually have the same diameter the entire length of the spindle.
To make sure we choose the correct hub for you, we will need a few measurements from your spindle. We will need the diameters for the inner and outer bearing seats and the grease seal seat (see photo). I recommend using a precise measuring tool such as a dial caliper because these measurements must be exact, to the closest thousandth of an inch. The weight capacity of your axle will also be helpful in choosing the correct product.
Another option would be to use the bearing and grease seal part numbers from your old hubs if you still have them. The part numbers of the bearings will be stamped into the metal of the bearing and the grease seal part number is usually stamped into the rubber (see photo).
Once we know what hub fits your spindle, we can choose a wheel with the correct weight rating and bolt pattern to fit your 4.80-8 tire.
