Can The Firestone Air Command II Compressor Kit Be Installed Without An Auxiliary Tank
Question:
I am looking This air compressor kit Firestone Air Command II - Analog Gauge w/ Heavy Duty Compressor - Dual Function - 150 psi. Does it need to be run with an air tank? Can I use just the pump and install a tank later? I currently installed the Firestone 2550 airbags on my truck.

The Firestone Air Command II # F2219 can be installed without a separate tank. An auxiliary air tank would really only be needed if you were drastically changing the psi in the air springs, otherwise the compressor's 30% duty cycle should last long enough for you to properly air up the springs.
