Why Does My Trailer Bounce At Speeds Between 25 and 35 mph

Question:

I have a 6 x10 utitly trailer with a 3500# axle. when driving at low speed 25 or 35, the trailer starts to bounce. Speed lower then 25 and higher then 35 it dose not bounce. What can I do to fix this? Thanks

There are a variety of reasons why a trailer might bounce like that:

- Under/Over inflated tires
- Bent axle
- Axle out of alignment
- Suspension is rated too high

If you are unsure how to check these things then I recommend taking your trailer to an RV or trailer shop and having them look into this for you.
