Why Does Curt 2024 Ford Bronco Trailer Wiring Need Power Wire Hooked to Battery
Question:
I want to install the Curt C59236 wiring on my 2024 Bronco but I want to double check if I have to run power to my battery, and if so, why?

You will need to run a power wire from the Curt Powered Tail Light Converter # C59236 to your 2024 Ford Bronco battery.
The power wire is what actually powers the lights on your trailer, while the other wires that you splice in to your Bronco are used as "triggers" to tell the converter when to send power to the various trailer lights. This not only protects your vehicle OEM wiring from trailer backfeed but it also keeps your circuits from getting overdrawn when all of the trailer lights are being utilized.
