Expert Reply:
With the Reese fifth wheel rail kit part # RP50084-58 that fits your 2008 Toyota Tundra Crewmax that has a 5.5 foot bed the rear rail would be located 27-9/16 inches from the rear edge of the truck bed. This dimension would be measured from the rear edge of the rear rail to the rear edge of the truck bed. The front rail would be 22 inches forward from that measured center to center but typically it's best to use your fifth wheel hitch to locate the front rail after the rear rail is placed.
