7 Prong Plug - Blinkers And Brake Lights Work But No Running Lights

I have a 7 prong plug. I can get my blinkers and brake lights to work but I can’t get any running lights.

Typically when we see this problem it's either due to corrosion on that circuit of the trailer connector, or a wiring issue.Try inspecting the pins of the connector on both the vehicle and trailer to see if you can find any corrosion and clean as needed. If that does not fix the issue, the best thing to do is go in with a wire tester like part # PTW2993, and test the wires all along the running light circuit until you find the source of the issue. Be on the lookout for any frayed or damaged wire. Also verify that the trailer harness is properly grounded to a clean metal surface free of paint, rust or corrosion.
