The best snow chains for a set 285/70/17 tires is the Titan Chain Snow Tire Chains w/ Cams for Wide Base Tires item # TC3829CAM. These chains have studded v-bars which are going to do especially well in ice. They also work great in deeper snow. The cam tighteners allow for a quick/easy install.
I recommend checking the owner's manual of your vehicle for any tire chain fit restrictions.
I have linked an installation video below to show you how to get these chains set up. If you aren't familiar with tire chains, I highly recommend throwing them on a couple of times before you actually need them.
