Adapter Needed With A BulletProof Hitches Ball Mount To Level The Trailer
Question:
I have a bulletproof 9inch hitch HD258 which works great for ping the ball except for a new 16foot cargo trailer I purchased. I need a additional inch or two of to alleviate the disproportional weight on the rear axle of the tandem set. The hitch of the trailer with the 9inch is still a little too high. Would this hitch adapter work in conjunction with the bulletproof hitch to gain an inch or two or is there another suggestion? Thanks.

The Roadmaster High Low Adapter for Tow Bars # RM-058-4 is designed specifically for flat towing so it wouldn't be compatible with what you're trying to do. You would instead either need to get a ball mount with a larger drop or use a stacked receiver like the Gen-Y # 325-GH-313. This specific stacked receiver offers up to 5" of rise or drop and has a 10k capacity.
