Parts Needed To Tow a Trailer With Electric Brakes Behind a 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee No Tow Package

My 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee did not come with the factory tow package. Can you tell me what I need to tow a trailer with electric brakes?

Expert Reply:
First you will need the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C96NR which will sit behind the factory cutout in your rear fascia on your 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee. This will give you a 2" receiver for a Ball Mount # C45534 or Weight Distribution Hitch # EQ37060ET.
For the electrical you will need the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # TK39VR to connect to your factory tail light wiring. This will then connect to the 7-Way Kit # ETBC7 which will allow you to install the Trailer Brake Controller # RED44FR.
