It may be possible to add electric brakes to a Stand-Up EZE-TOW Car Tow Dolly that currently has surge brakes. In order to do this you would need electric brake assemblies like the # AKEBRK-35, hub/drum assemblies like # AKHD-545-35-EZ-K and a 7 way trailer harness, preferably with a junction box, like our part # 3375601101 along with a 7 way plug # H20046.
The main thing is that the dolly will need to have a standard 4-bolt brake mounting flange at the base of the spindle. We would want to make sure you have that, and we would need to confirm the spindle size, or bearing sizes for the hub. This way we can ensure everything is going to fit correctly. We would also want to know the wheel bolt pattern. I did not see any of this information listed on the tow dolly website you mentioned. So your best bet would be to remove a hub from one side and get some measurements. Only then will we know exactly what parts are needed, and if it will even be possible to convert to electric brakes.
