Mounting Options For An RV Refrigerator

We have a 2023 Forest River Salem Cruise Lite. We are replacing the refrigerator with this model and I was wondering if you sell the mounting brackets. You had mentioned using heavy duty L brackets, but it is not possible to do this. Any other suggestions?

We unfortunately do not carry any mounting brackets and typically recommend some heavy-duty L brackets from your local hardware store. I don't know exactly what your situation is like but you may have to be a bit creative to to get your fridge bracketed down. In the last minute of the attached video below John ran some self tapping screws through the bottom tray of the Everchill # 324-000119 into some plywood that he mounted to the compartment first.

You are correct that this refrigerator does not have an ON/OFF switch or function. The best you can do is "Standby" that draws an unknown amount of power. One option is to pull the 12-Volt fuse at the RV power center. A much better…

If your current wiring is actually DC and not AC power and meets the minimum wire gauge requirements (pictured below) then you should be able to reuse your current wiring to power the Everchill RV Refrigerator w/ Freezer #EV77FR.

The actual locking mechanism is the difference. The Trimax Heavy Duty #TMX42ZR has a much more robust hardened steel lock while the Trimax #TMX65FR uses a tube key style lock for the main lock.
