How to Tell if Rock Tamers Mud Flaps Will Fit with Curt Adjustable 2-Ball Mount
Question:
Will the rock tamers mud/rock flaps attach to this hitch? Is there room for the coupler and will it attach?

Helpful Expert Reply:
The Rock Tamers Heavy-Duty, Adjustable Mud Flap System for 2" Hitches # ERT00108 requires at least 1" of the shank to properly fit.
I went out and measured the shank on the Curt Adjustable 2-Ball Mount # C99NR and found the from the center of the hitch pin hole to the gusset on the shank measured right at 3-3/8" (see attached). To ensure fitment I recommend rounding down to 3-1/4" for proper clearance. Then all you have to do is measure from the center of the hitch pin hole to the face of the hitch receiver on your truck and make sure there there is at least 1" left for fitment.
If the measurement from the center of your hitch pin hole to the face of your hitch receiver is more than 2-1/4" the Rock Tamers will not fit and we'll need to look for a longer shank for your application. Let me know what you measure if this is the case and I'll be more than happy to help you find the best fit for your application!
