Will Custom Wiring Harness for Ford Escape part 118343 Convert the Separate Turn and Brake Lights

Question:

Does this product resolve the fact that that a trailer light plug with only 4 wires uses one bulb for brake and blinker on the trailer? Thanks

Yes, it will. The custom wiring harness for the Ford Escape does convert the vehicle 3-wire system (separate turn signal and brake light bulbs) to the trailer 2-wire system (same turn signal and brake light bulb). When you hit the brakes on the Escape the brake lights will light up on the trailer. If you have a turn signal on at the same time you are braking the corresponding turn signal/red light on the trailer will flash while the other side is solid red for the brake light.
