Best Way to Carry Bikes with a 2016 Volvo XC70

The best way to carry bikes is with a hitch mounted bike rack because it's easier to load bikes, can have a higher weight rating, and they don't make contact with your vehicle. For your 2016 Volvo XC70 I recommend using the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e77KR because of the matte black finish. This does a great job of blending in with your vehicle but also hiding any scratches that might happen from road debris.

Then for a bike rack I really like the RockyMounts BackStage # RKY10002 because it has the wheel mounted style of rack coupled with a swinging arm so you can have unrestricted access to the rear cargo area of your vehicle without having to purchase a separate swinging arm piece.
