I have some good news and some bad news. First the bad news is Blue Ox does not currently manufacturer a base plate for your 2008 Mini Cooper S hard top. The good news is you can combine the Roadmaster Base Plate # 521877-1 with the Adapter # BX88178. This will allow you to then connect to a Blue Ox Tow Bar # BX7420.
You will need a Bulb and Socket Wiring Kit # RM-152-LED-7 and Supplemental Braking System # HM39524 to fully prepare your Mini for flat towing.
