What Could Cause LED Light Bars to Turn Off and On When Bumped
Question:
We have Bar type LED lights on our caravan. There are two bars with 8 LEDs in each for the functions red tail light, brakelight and orange indicator on both the left and right sides. Some bars are fully lit and some have combination of lit and not lit. If you bang the light sometimes more lights will come on. Where should I start to identify the problem. Many thanks

Try jiggling the wiring that runs to the lights first. Hopefully that causes the lights to come on or off and the issue is as simple as a wiring connection that's not fully secure. If that's not it and it's an LED setup the solution will be to replace the assemblies as it's a loose wire somewhere in the diodes.
