Recommended Storage Cover For A Furrion RV AC Rooftop Unit

Question:

I have a 2023 Cherokee Grey Wolf 27RR with a Furrion AC unit. I was told I should put a cover over the unit since it will be outside in the Western NY winter. That being said I cannot find one for that unit online. The only thing available specific for the Furrion is a fiberglass replacement cover. Does this mean it doesnt need to be covered with something or do i need to find a generic vinyl cover with similar dimensions? Thanks in advance for the help. Regards,

Putting a cover on your AC unit will definitely help protect it from harsh weather, but isn't a requirement. Since Furrion doesn't currently offer custom-fit covers you would have to use a larger size cover, like the # 290-3023, to fit over your unit and use some bungie cords to tighten up the slack.
