Idea for Trailer Suspension Where Slipper Spring Pops Out of Hanger
Question:
I have this 3 leaf slipper spring set-up. My boat trailer holds 1600 lbs including trailer. Wd love to send a pic of how the hangars are u bolted onto the frame. I do a lot of highway driving. Have had a problem on highway with the slipper slipping out of the U bolted hangar when driving un-laden. Also hit a deep pothole on an on-ramp and the whole stbd side shifted aft 10 inches. Got both squared away, but wonder if there is a better best practice. Like welding the hangar or a better set of hardware altogether?
