Replacement Compartment Door Latch That Can Latch The Door Closed While Unlocked
Question:
Do you sell replacement latches/locks for RV storage compartment doors that give you the option to close and latch the door w/o locking it? Nice to not need the key every time I want to open a door.

The replacement cam locks from global link will allow you to remove the key when in the unlocked position, but you won't find a cam lock that would allow you to latch the compartment door closed without locking it. Thumb latches, like the # 37200145 you were looking at would allow you to latch the door, but there's no locking mechanism in them.
You would need to install a slam latch like part # GL34FR in order to be able to latch the door closed and lock it as needed. I've attached a short video below where Jake will walk your through the installation process if this is something you'd like switch to.
