Is the Demco Autoslide for the Ford Puck System an Automatic Slider?

2023 F350, 6 3/4 If this is not an automatic slider, how does it protect my truck? Surely, I dont have to get out of my truck every time I make a tight turn. ??

You don't have to get out every time it'll do it for you. The Demco Autoslide 5th Wheel Hitch w/ Slider item # DM8550024 is an automatic slider. This sliding hitch will give you 14" of clearance for tight turns.
Now the B&W Companion OEM 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w Slider item # BWRVK3370 you were also looking at is not an autoslider. This hitch will require you to get out and release the latch whenever you are making tight turns.
The Demco Autoslide item # DM8550024 is confirmed to fit the factory puck system on the 2023 Ford F-350. It has brackets built into the side that'll drop right down into your in bed pucks. This hitch has a 18,000 lbs capacity. If you need something higher we also have the 21,000 lbs capacity Demco Autoslide item # DM8550038.
