2013 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Recommeended Parts for Flat Towing Behind a 2015 Fleetwood Southwind
Question:
Looking for recommendations for a tow package to haul my 2013 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Freedom Edition Auitomatic behind my 2015 Fleetwood Southwind 34A - 5000 lb hitch rating. Appreciate any input on total towing package, i.e. battery minder, aux brake, tow bar, aux wiring package, and towing base plate for jeep. Thanks.

Here are the parts I recommend for flat towing your 2013 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited:
- etrailer Invisible Base Plate Kit # e98949
- etrailer SD Tow Bar # e34ZR
- Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit # RM-15267
- Battery Charge Line Kit # RM-156-25 (not necessary but you asked about it)
- Demco SBS Stay-IN-Play DUO Braking System # SM99251
- High-Low Adapter (see attached article, etrailer bracket height is 18-3/4")
I really like the style and operation of our tow bar and base plate kit, the Flexo-Coil wiring kit is the absolute best that we carry, I tossed the charge line kit in the mix which can help keep your battery charged up, and then the Stay-IN-Play DUO braking system installs permanently on your Jeep but it will be out of the way when you aren't towing.
You may or may not need a high-low adapter which is why I'm linking the article for you to reference and compare to the height of your motorhome hitch receiver.
Attached are some installation and review videos for you to reference as well!
