E-Bike Rack Recommendation for Lectric 3.0 at Rear of Class B Motorhome
Question:
Have a class B motorhome with a spare tire rack and tire and a rear door that swings open from right to left. Looking to purchase two Lectric 3.0 step through bikes. Planning a 70 day round trip from NC to CA and back. Have a few questions. Looking to use either Hollywood Sport rider featured on Lectric page or RV rider. Looks like only the former requires adapter bar ? Also going to use a KAC swingaway hitch. Wondering if will still need a hitch extender, as tire seems to extend 14inch from rear door. Also trying to determine total length added to 19foot camper as most campgrounds want to know this. Any help with above and anything else greatly appreciated !

The Hollywood Racks RV Rider bike rack part # HLY64FR would work great for you as it is motorhome use approved and was designed for carrying e-bikes like yours that are heavier and have alternative frame styles.
Since this rack has 12 inches from the center of the hitch pin hole to nearest wheel tray it would not require an adapter to fit past your spare that is 14 inches since you will be using a pivoting adapter.
This bike rack by itself will add 32 inches to the rear of the RV when measured from pin hole back so you'd need to use that figure plus the length of the pivot adapter you are planning to use to determine the length it would add.
