Will Draw-Tite Trailer hitch 41944 Fit a 2006 Chevy Silverado with Aftermarket Exhaust
Question:
I have a 4 inch after market exhaust which is located in the same location as the stock exhaust, the only differance is the stock exhaust was 3 inch and this is 4 inch with a 6 inch exhaust tip. I want to install the draw-tite ultra frame reciever 41944 in place of my stock oem receiver on my 2006 Chevy Silverado...thank you for your time.

I do not think that the larger exhaust is going to be an issue when installing Draw-Tite trailer hitch # 41944 on your 2006 Chevy Silverado. For the most part, the hitch is not all that close to the exhaust as you can see in the linked instructions and video.
However, in the event that there is a little interference there is plenty of room beneath a truck to use a different exhaust hanger or bend a hanger so that there is no interference. I have included a link to our help article that discusses what to do about hitch/exhaust rattle that will help.
If you need to add accessories I recommend etrailer ball mount kit # EBMK2416. It comes with a ball mount, 2 balls, hitch pin with clip, and a storage bag. Your truck should have factory trailer wiring already but if you need to replace it I have linked the options we carry for your truck.
