Info Needed to Pick Out 6 Lug Replacement Hub for Trailer
Question:
I have a 5 bolt hub with brakes on a trailer. I’d like to swap it for a 6 bolt hub. The 5 bolt is on a offset. How do I go about finding the right size hub?

We first need to determine what capacity axle to pick out a replacement hub. This can be found on the sticker/tag of the axle as the capacity will be listed there or you can determine it by the diameter of the axle. In the 6 on 5-1/2 inch bolt pattern we have hubs that fit axle capacities between 3,500 and 7k which you can all see at the attached link on this page.
