Options For A Swing Away Hitch Mounted Spare Tire Carrier

I am looking for a rear hitch-mounted spare tire holder that will swing out of the way to allow the hatch to swing up and down

We do have a potential solution for you. While we do not have any hitch mounted spare tire carriers with a built in swing away feature, we do offer swing away hitch extenders that will work well for this purpose. We recommend using a combination of the Saris Swing Away Hitch Extender # SAR36VR and a hitch mounted spare tire carrier like the # e98ZR. This will allow the spare tire to rotate out a full 90 degrees, and allow access to the rear hatch. We have had several customers use this exact setup and it worked very nicely. Take a look at the picture below.
