Can a Coach with a 45A Converter Be Plugged Into 50A Service
Question:
Two things: I have a 6300 6345 converter which has a frozen fan motor. Do you sell the fan motor for these and, if so, how much? Secondly, since its a 45A unit should I have coach plugged into the 50A service? Theres been a few times its tripped the 30A on the pedestal, but I can find no reason for it to do so. I think it may be a power problem or bad breaker, in the parks pedestal. There shouldnt be any issues by using the 50A, correct?

Since the converter section of your 6300/6345 has a frozen fan motor you'll need to replace the whole thing with the Progressive Dynamics Replacement Section # PD4645V as we don't have individual parts available for them.
When it comes to plugging up your coach, the best thing to do is calculate how much power you'll be using and then plugging into either the 30A or the 50A service depending on what you need to use. The breakers tripping could be the result of a bad breaker, but it could be that you've had things on and didn't realize you were overdrawing the pedestal. As long as your coach is rated for a 50A service then you'll be perfectly safe plugging into that outlet on the pedestal.
