Troubleshooting a Truck Camper Shell 3rd Light That Is Not Working
Question:
I have a truck cap with third brake light. Brake light would light with exception of 2 bulbs. Disconnected old brake light to install new one. Now, I cannot get juice from truck’s wires.

Have you checked to see how much power the new light is receiving? There could be a chance that the new light is drawing too much power for the brake light circuit to handle, so I'd recommend checking to see how much power the light is drawing with a multimeter # PT89ZR.
Switching the light to LED would help this because LEDs draw much less power than bulbs do.
It also could be a blown fuse so I'd recommend checking on that as well as there usually is a separate fuse for the third brake light.
