Gen-Y 5TH Wheel To Gooseneck Pin Box For a 2023 Grand Design Solitude 382WB
Question:
I have a 2023 Grand Design 382WB I am planning on installing this Gen-Y 5th wheel to gooseneck hitch on. But first I am having troubles locating if my pin box is a 1621 or 1621hd. So I am wondering if etrailer has that information to tell me which one I have? Plus a second concern is will this new attachment void my manufactures warranty? Thabkyou for the response in advance!

Based on the information I can find I see the 2023 Grand Design Solitude 382WD comes with a MORryde Pin Box # MR83QR which has the Lippert Rhino bolt pattern. That would require the Gen-Y Hitch 5th Wheel to Gooseneck Pin Box # GY98GR. You can verify this by measuring the mounting pattern which should have the bolt holes spread 7-1/2" on center horizontally and 2" vertically. If you have a different measurement please let me know.
The Gen-Y will only void your warranty if the dealer/Lippert determine the damage was caused by the pin box being changed.
