Parts Needed to Tow a Trailer w/ Brakes w/ a 2024 Hyundai Santa Cruz
Question:
I am looking for a complete set up to tow a small camper with brakes with a 2024 Hyundai Santa Cruz. Can you point me in the right direction? I know I need a 7-way connector and only can find a 4-way. Thanks

I would be happy to help you find a set up for your 2024 Hyundai Santa Cruz that will allow you to tow a trailer with brakes. You're going to need both a 4-way and 7-way connector because there isn't an aftermarket option to give you just the 7-way. You will also need a brake controller and a wiring adapter amongst other things that I have listed below.
The first harness you'll need is the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness item # C45FV. This will provide you with a 4-flat connector.
The second harness you will need is the Universal Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controller item # ETBC7. The kit includes a pre-wired 7- and 4-way trailer connector that mounts easily at the rear of your vehicle with an included bracket. This kit is designed for use on a vehicle with an existing 4-way flat trailer connector and plugs directly into it.
Here are some other parts you will need to tow a trailer with your 2024 Hyundai Santa Cruz:
Trailer Hitch - Curt Hitch item # C23WR
Wiring Harness Mount - No-Drill Mount Bracket item # 18136
Brake Controller - Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty Brake Controller item # RED24FR and Wiring Adapter item # RED69FR
Ball Mount - Curt Towing Starter Kit for 2" Hitches item # C45534
