Recommended Replacement Roof Vent For A 2000 Lance 1061 Truck Bed Camper
Question:
My 2000 lance 1061 camper bath 12v fan vent cover is cracking. It doesnt look like the cover is replaceable. So I guess I need the whole vent. I cannot see a brand name on it. And cant find one that looks exactly like it on your website. I need help identifying the correct vent. I can send a photo.

Based on the pictures you provided it looks like you have an older Ventline manual vent with a fan so the Ventline E-Z Lift Ventadome Trailer Roof Vent w/ 12V Fan # V3094-601-00 you were looking at would just be the newest version and would make a great replacement if you're happy with a manual vent over a powered one.
To replace your current vent you'll need to scrape off the old sealant first. I recommend using a composite tool like # PT73HJ and really taking your time so that you don't pull the roof membrane off with it. Once you get it cleared off enough you can remove the screws on the mounting flange of the vent and the screws in the interior that hold the garnish ring to it. The # V3094-601-00 doesn't come with a garnish ring so you'd need to either save your current one or get another with part # VA0445-34. You'll also want the installation kit # 344270KITW to get butyl tape, sealant, and mounting screws.
You'll place the butyl tape on the bottom of the mounting flange of the vent and screw it down to the roof. Once installed you can then place a thick layer of sealant over the screw heads and edge of the mounting flange to prevent any water from leaking into the camper.
