I've dealt with this with my dad's 5th wheel off and on and it usually comes down to power. The Lippert Ground Control 3.0 Electric 5th Wheel RV Leveling System # LC675817 requires 12.75 volts to properly operate. Anything less and you'll start having issues. If you plug into shore power and then try using the auto level feature does it give you any issues?

You can also check the wiring running from the control module # LC85ED to the legs to see if there's any damage or loose connections that could be causing the issue.
