Parts Needed To Separate Turn Signals and Brake Lights Input For a Motorcycle Carrier

Question:

hello, i drive a 2019 Toyota Tacoma. I have both a 7pin and 4 pin output from factory. I have a motorcycle hitch carrier that I use and it has separate Turn signals from the brake light. The lights on the motorcycle carrier are: -Running lights for when headlights are on -Brake Light -Separate Turn signal from Brake light. Id like to use my existing 7 or 4 pin connecters on the back of my truck without having to tap into my factory harness for Blinkers and stop light. Is there anything out there that I can use that utilizes the factory connectors 7pin/4pin? Thank you

You are going to need to wire in the Curt 2 to 3 Wire Tail Light Converter # C56196 on your motorcycle carrier. This will allow you to remove the tail lights from the brake light wiring so you can wire the turn signals separately on your carrier. If you carrier uses LED lights you will also need to wire in 3 Resistors # P230004C as the converter was only designed to be used with incandescent lights and will need to see the higher amperage draw with the resistors.

If you need any further assistance with how to wire everything I will need to know what all wiring and connectors you have on your motorcycle carrier.
