Can BrakeBuddy Towed Vehicle Battery Charge Kit Be Used with a Solar Panel
Question:
Hi there, I have a situation which is similar to a rv towing a car which need to have its battery charged. My situation is that I have a 12v solar system in a cabin dans I want my VTT battery being charged from it. Is this part will be suitable for keeping the battery ready a fully charged? Even if I left couple weeks connected? Wont it over charge? Thanks

The BrakeBuddy Towed Vehicle Battery Charge Kit # BB54FR can be connected to a solar panel but you'll definitely want to use a solar charger to keep from overcharging the battery.
The Go Power PWM Solar Charge Controller # 34280503 can work for this but you might also check to see if there is a controller designed specifically to work with your solar panel that you can connect the battery charge kit to.
