Can Blue Ox Patriot Work with 2020 Chevy Blazer

Question:

Im in need of a supplemental braking system for my 2020 Chevrolet Blazer front-wheel drive SUV. I have a question about an apparent conflict in information. The description for the Blue Ox Patriot BLU37TR says that it is not compatible with power assist brakes. However, in an answer to Bruce A about his 2015 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sahara, Jameson C. explains that the Blue Ox is strong enough to apply adequate braking pressure once the toads power assist feature has been depleted after the first couple of brake applications. Can you explain this to me? Also, the flat-towing recommendation from Chevy for my Blazer is to disconnect the negative cable from the battery. What are my options for providing power to the Blue Ox? OBTW, Ive been very happy with the service and products Ive ordered from etrailer so far. This includes a receiver hitch for a 2009 Escape which we no longer own, a Roadmaster spare tire rack for receiver hitch for our newly-acquired Class A, and a Blue Ox base plate for the Blazer in question. On a minor note, the description of the Blue Ox says that the display in the cab of the RV is an LED display. It is actually an LCD display, not LED.

Blue Ox has tested their Patriot part # BLU37TR and have found that it fits and works great in your 2020 Chevy Blazer. I am not sure why we have "not power assist compatible" listed in the description of the Patriot but if for sure does work with the braking style of your Blazer.
