To add tension back to the spring of the Solera RV Slide-Out Awning # LCV000165062 first need to run the slide out. Next you'll need to remove the arms from the extension rod that connects them to mounting brackets on the wall of the slide out. There's two separate springs in side of the roller tube that will need to be spun up over the roller towards the trailer 14-16 times in order to get proper tension again. There's a small hole in the rod that connects the roller tube to the arms that you can line up and stick a very thin screw driver in to hold the tension while you get the arms connected back to the extension rods. This process will need to be done on both sides since there's two separate springs.
