Flat Tow Parts Recommendation for a 2017 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk

I have a 2017 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk I want to flat tow behind my RV. What parts do you recommend to make that happen? I have a good Idea what parts are required, just wondered what you have to offer and recommend. Thanks

To get a full flat tow setup on your 2017 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk you need a base plate kit, tow bar, safety cables, vehicle tow bar wiring (including a charge line kit), a supplemental braking system, and possibly a high-low adapter. Here are the parts I recommend:

- etrailer Invisible Base Plate Kit # e98952
- etrailer SD Non-Binding Tow Bar # e34ZR
- Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit # RM-15267
- Charge Line Kit # RM-156-25
- Brake Kit # DM26VR for motorhome air brakes or # DM86VR for motorhome hydraulic brakes
- High-Low Adapter - See attached article (bracket height is 21")

All of these parts give you a system that's quick and easy to use. The initial installation will take a bit but after that the brake kit stays installed out of the way on your vehicle so your setup and tear down of the system is pretty quick.

Attached are a few videos for you to check out, but I also had a few other things to take note of prior to installing everything:

- Some models of this vehicle may use Mortorq® fasteners which can be found as part PFMTS2E from a Snap-On dealer.
- Jeep issued a tech bulletin to install wiring kit 68321424AB to flat tow your vehicle - you need to reach out to your local dealer for this.

Finally getting around to attaching the base plate kit on my Cherokee. Are you sure the E98952 is correct? Instructions don't match, can't get fascia off the car.
